Measure the finger on which the ring will actually be worn. The same finger on the opposite hand can be slightly different, especially on the dominant hand. Remove other jewelry and allow the hand to rest before starting. A measurement from the wrong hand or a neighboring finger can lead to an avoidable exchange.
