Unlike wide bands (6mm+) which require ordering ½–1 size larger, narrow bands of 4mm or less should be ordered in your exact measured ring size with no upsizing. Thin rings exert minimal pressure across the finger and feel true-to-size. Simply measure your finger, find your size in the chart below, and order that exact size.
Measure your finger circumference in mm using a paper strip or flexible tape. Find that mm reading in the Circumference (mm) column — that row is your exact ring size for any narrow band (1mm–4mm). No adjustment needed. If between two rows, pick the larger size.

While a single 2mm narrow ring needs no size adjustment, stacking multiple narrow rings together creates a combined width effect. A stack of 3 × 2mm rings = 6mm total, which behaves like a wide band and may require each ring to be ordered ¼ size larger than your measured size for the same comfortable fit across the full stack.
One ring, any narrow width (1mm–4mm). Order your exact measured size — no adjustment. This is the simplest scenario and the chart above applies directly.
Order exact sizeTwo narrow rings worn together (e.g. 2 × 2mm = 4mm combined). Still within the narrow band range — order exact measured size for both rings. Combined width is still ≤4mm.
Order exact size for bothThree or more narrow rings create a combined width of 6mm+. Consider ordering each ring ¼ size larger than your measured size so the full stack sits comfortably at the base of the finger without feeling tight.
+¼ size per ring in stackFive or more rings create a significant combined width (10mm+). Order each ring ½ size larger than your measured size. The bottom ring in the stack will need to pass over the knuckle carrying all rings above it.
+½ size per ring in large stackWhen wearing narrow bands alongside a wider engagement ring, size the narrow bands to your measured size. The engagement ring was already ordered with its own width adjustment. Match the narrow bands to your base measurement.
Match your base measurementMixing a wide ring with narrow ones? Size each ring individually for its own width. The wide ring gets its normal width adjustment (+½–1 size), while each narrow ring is ordered at exact measured size.
Size each ring individuallyMany people apply the wide band sizing rule (+½ size) to narrow rings. For bands ≤4mm this results in a ring that is too large and spins or falls off. Narrow bands need no size adjustment — order your exact measured size.
✅ Order exact size for 1mm–4mm bandsOrdering multiple narrow bands at exact size is correct for wearing individually. But if planning to wear 4+ rings stacked together as an everyday look, the combined width means you should order each ring ¼–½ size larger.
✅ Add ¼ size per ring if stacking 4+If you already wear a wide band at +½ size, do not use that ring as the reference for a narrow ring. The wide ring was intentionally oversized. For a narrow band, go back to your actual measured finger circumference in mm.
✅ Always re-measure for narrow bandsSome buyers think narrow rings are "one size fits all" or don't need precise sizing. This is wrong — a 1mm band that is even one size too large will spin constantly, and one size too small will be painful on narrow bands because there is no give in the band.
✅ Measure carefully — thin rings need precisionWhen ordering a matching set of stackable narrow bands, always order all rings in the same size. Mixed sizes in a stack will sit unevenly and look misaligned on the finger.
✅ Order all stacking rings the same sizeA narrow eternity ring (stones all the way around) cannot be resized without major rework. These rings also sit more snugly than plain narrow bands because the stones add slight internal diameter variation. Order half a size up for narrow eternity rings only.
