Measure the finger on which the ring will actually be worn. The same finger on the opposite hand can be slightly different, especially on the dominant hand. Remove other jewellery and allow the hand to rest before starting. A measurement from the wrong hand or a neighbouring finger can lead to an avoidable exchange.

Take at least three readings and compare them. If the readings differ, the ring may be oval or the ruler may not be passing through the centre. Use the average only as a rough estimate and request professional checking for an expensive purchase.

After printing, measure the calibration line below. It must be exactly 50 mm. Place a comfortable ring over the circles and match the inside edge of the metal to the outside edge of the printed circle. Do not use โFit to Pageโ, โShrink to Printable Areaโ or automatic scaling.
