A complete Bangladesh ring size guide for 2026 — measure your finger or an existing ring, estimate the nearest BD/Asia size, compare US, EU/ISO and UK conversions, and understand the size labels used by Bangladeshi jewellery sellers.
Bangladeshi sellers do not always use one identical label. A local chart may show a BD/Asia number such as 15, another shop may show US size 7, and an international brand may show EU size 55. Record your physical measurement in millimetres first, then convert it.
Print this page at 100% or “actual size”. Measure the 50 mm calibration line with a physical ruler first. Place a comfortable ring over the closest circle and align its inside edge with the printed circle. Do not use the ring's outside metal edge.
Bangladesh does not have one universal consumer-facing ring label used identically by every jewellery shop. Some local sellers publish a BD/Asia scale, while others sell by US size or ask for the ring's inner diameter or finger circumference in millimetres. The physical measurement is therefore more dependable than the size number alone.
For example, a 55.0 mm circumference is listed as BD/Asia size 15 in a Bangladesh jeweller's chart.
A 55 mm internal circumference is approximately EU/ISO size 55.
A 17.5 mm internal diameter gives about 55.0 mm circumference.
A 57 mm circumference gives an inner diameter of about 18.14 mm.
Some Bangladesh fashion-jewellery stores list rings directly by US sizes such as 5–12.
UK letters are useful for imported jewellery, but they are not the default label for every Bangladesh shop.
The local result uses the BD/Asia 10–23 chart shown below. Another Bangladesh retailer may use US sizes or a different conversion table, so send your measured circumference and inner diameter along with the requested size.

Choose the finger on which the ring will be worn. The left and right hand can differ, and a ring that fits one finger should not be used automatically for another. Remove other rings and allow your hand to settle before starting.
Cut a strip about 5 mm wide and wrap it around the finger base. Keep it comfortably snug without pulling it into the skin. Thin elastic string can stretch and give an artificially small result, so paper or a proper ring sizer is safer.
Mark the precise point where the paper completes one loop. Lay it flat and measure from its starting edge to the mark. This is the finger circumference. For example, 5.5 cm equals 55 mm and is close to BD/Asia size 15 on the chart used here.
Measure at least three times. Bangladesh's warm and humid conditions, activity, hydration and salt intake can make fingers temporarily fuller. Avoid choosing a size from a single unusually tight or loose reading.
The ring must pass over the widest part of the knuckle and remain secure at the finger base. Wide wedding bands cover more skin and often feel tighter than slim rings, so ask the jeweller whether that design needs additional allowance.
Use a round ring that fits comfortably on the correct finger and hand. A ring borrowed from a different finger can produce a technically accurate measurement but the wrong purchase size.
Place the ring flat and measure straight across the widest internal point through its centre. Do not include the metal wall. A digital calliper is best, while a clear millimetre ruler can provide a useful estimate.
Turn the ring about 90 degrees and repeat. Similar readings suggest the ring is round. Different readings can indicate an oval, bent or worn band; in that situation, professional sizing is more reliable.
Select “Existing Ring Inner Diameter in MM”, enter the result and compare all displayed labels. An internal diameter near 17.5 mm is approximately BD/Asia 15, EU 55 and US 7.25 on this guide.
A Bangladesh jewellery product page may present a whole number such as 10, 12, 15, 18 or 23 under a BD/Asia heading. A separate local retailer may instead label rings with the US scale, such as sizes 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9. Imported products can also display EU circumference numbers or UK letters. This variation means “size 15” is incomplete unless the system is named.
The most dependable ordering information is the physical opening: inner circumference in millimetres and inner diameter in millimetres. On the local BD/Asia chart used here, size 15 has a 17.5 mm inner diameter and a 55.0 mm circumference. The same opening is approximately EU/ISO 55 and around US 7.25.
Useful Bangla terms include আংটির মাপ for ring size, আঙুলের পরিধি for finger circumference, ভেতরের ব্যাস for inner diameter, গয়না for jewellery and বিয়ের আংটি for wedding ring. Showing the millimetre measurement beside the size number helps both English- and Bangla-speaking sellers understand the order.
Warm conditions can make a ring feel tighter later in the day.
Broad wedding bands need more fitting attention than slim rings.
The opening must pass the knuckle and still sit securely below it.
The same finger can have a different size on the opposite hand.
Eternity and complex stone-set rings need more accurate sizing.
A rounded interior can feel different from a flat-edged interior.
A correct fit does not confirm the purity of a gold ring. Bangladesh's BDS 1515:2021 covers grades and marking for gold and gold alloys, while BAJUS guidance has emphasized hallmarking for ornaments. Check the hallmark, stated karat/fineness, invoice, weight and seller credentials independently of the size measurement.
The guide uses local Bangladesh sizing examples together with international measurement and precious-metal references:
